About the Role
1. Join Gokiwi Tech as an SDE-1 Product Engineer in the UPI Product Engineering team, with opportunities in both Android and iOS development.
2. Build and ship real payment features used by millions of UPI users across P2P, merchant, QR, and bill payments.
3. Own product features end-to-end, including development, device testing, debugging, code reviews, and production issue resolution.
4. Work with experienced engineers and learn payment systems, fintech engineering practices, application architecture, and cross-platform development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Android or iOS payment features.
- Implement UPI payment functionality.
- Test applications on real devices.
- Debug production issues and investigate root causes.
- Participate in code reviews and feature releases.
- Maintain cross-platform feature consistency.
- Follow verification-first development practices.
- Learn from production incidents and contribute to root-cause analysis.
Eligibility & Required Qualifications
- Only final-year students graduating in 2027 are eligible.
- Android applicants must have Kotlin development experience and at least one shipped application.
- iOS applicants must have Swift development experience and at least one shipped application.
- Experience with device-level debugging.
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
- Strong independent learning and problem-solving skills.
