Internship Overview Enterpret is looking for motivated engineering interns to join its Backend Engineering team. This internship provides hands-on experience in developing scalable backend systems, serverless architectures and AI-powered product features. Interns will work alongside experienced engineers, participate in system design discussions, develop real-world backend solutions and contribute directly to production systems. The role offers exposure to AI integrations, AWS infrastructure, distributed systems, real-time inference and large-scale data processing. Participate in system design discussions and contribute ideas to engineering and implementation decisions. 2. Develop backend solutions from initial concepts to production deployment with guidance from experienced engineers. 3. Work with serverless architectures using AWS to build scalable and reliable backend components. 4. Develop proof-of-concepts for new backend and AI feature integrations. 5. Work on integrating AI model outputs into backend systems. 6. Contribute to real-time AI inference and processing pipelines. 7. Collaborate with engineers developing Enterpret's AI-native customer intelligence platform. 8. Understand how backend architecture supports AI features, from model training to real-time inference. 9. Debug technical issues and improve system performance, reliability and scalability. 10. Work with real-world customer data, unexpected user behaviour and complex edge cases. 11. Explore and contribute to open-source tools and technologies. Required Skills and Qualifications 1. Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Engineering from a Tier 1 college. 2. Strong programming fundamentals in any modern programming language. 3. At least one previous internship in a relevant engineering, backend development or AI role. 4. Genuine interest in distributed systems, serverless computing and AI-powered applications. 5. Strong problem-solving, debugging and analytical skills. 6. Ability and willingness to work onsite from the Bangalore office. 7. Eagerness to learn backend architecture and understand how AI systems work in production. Preferred Qualifications 1. Experience contributing to open-source projects. 2. Practical experience building backend development projects. 3. Experience with AI or machine learning projects. 4.
