About the Role
SDE-1s at Amazon build massive-scale distributed architectures. You will own software design, operational metrics, latency optimizations, and high-availability systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain highly scalable asynchronous message queues and microservices.
- Diagnose and resolve complex production incidents following Amazon Operational Excellence guidelines.
- Optimize distributed database queries (DynamoDB, Aurora) and caching layers.
- Participate in on-call rotations and write clear post-mortem incident documentation.
Eligibility & Required Qualifications
Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field
Target Graduation Batches:2023 / 2024 / 2025
- Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, C++, or C#.
- Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs and asynchronous message queues.
- Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL database schemas.
- Demonstrated adherence to high engineering quality and unit testing.
